Tech Question - Varaible Rate Coil Springs for a Van

I have a 1983 Chevy Van 2500 and would like to have variable rate coil springs.

Variable front coil springs will not work with the design of the suspension of your van.
As the name implies, the spring rate of Variable rate coil springs change as the spring compresses and uncompresses.
The design of the van’s suspension dictates the springs must load and unload at the same rate.
If they do not steering control could be effected.
