Default Fun while driving

One of the things I like to do while driving is to time how long some one who wants to get in front of me will stay behind me before they realize there are other lanes they can use to pass.

Now before you become unglued, I only do this on multi-lane roads and I never, ever play this game while in the far left hand lane. And I am always going faster, at least 5 to 10 mph over the speed limit.

I love watching them in the rear view mirror as they look right and then left (3 or more laned road) trying to see what is in front of me. Then they get a look of ?Why isn?t he letting me by? Doesn?t he know who I am??

I am amazed as to how long they will follow before the light goes on and they change lanes. And I am talking minutes and not a couple but several minutes before their brains engage.

Have some fun and try it.

Default Toll Booth: sheep

I got one for ya,

In New Jersey we have a thing called the New Jersey Turnpike with it's multiple laned toll booths at the end of every exit and on ramp. Now, when I say multiple lanes I mean that there are at least 4 to 5 toll booth Lanes open, accepting fees, for each exit and entrance.

If you watch carefully and go slow, you can see everyone falling in line behind each other, more and more while other lanes are completely open with no cars.

I never understood why one would get in line behind 5 cars when there are no cars in another toll booth lane that was open and waiting......

GO FIGURE????

Nice one SG

Here's a move that has a remarkably high success rate around here.
2lanes in your direction....a car is in front of you and a car is beside you. Those 2 cars are going the same speed and there's no opening for you to make a pass between them.
Pace the car beside you door-to-door for a few seconds then SLOWLY drift back a door length...do this a few times and 7x out of 10, and totally unconsciously it seems...that car beside you has slowed enough to allow an opening for you to pass
